The vehicles may be damaged due to fire or too old or costly to repair. If vehicle does not pass the fitness test, you cannot use it on the road. Also you can not renew its registration certificate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If vehicle passes the fitness test, it must take the test again every five years to ensure it remains safe and does not cause excess pollution. A valid fitness certificate is required to renew the registration of a vehicle after it completes 15 years. There are other benefits to buying a new vehicle after scrapping an old vehicle.
