Re registration of vehicle in India

Is a process of renewal-rc (registration certificate) of a vehicle.

As per the Central Motor Vehicle rules,

All private vehicles should re register the vehicle after 15 years for every 5 years,

For as long as the Road Transport Office (RTO)  department considers it roadworthy.

In short, when your registration certificate expires,

As a result, you should re register your vehicle for every 5 years.

Every registration certificate is required to be renewed not more than 60 days before the date of its expiry of the registration for its continuous use.

 

When do you need a re registration of vehicle?

A per the Motor Vehicle Act,

The requirement for renewal-rc of a vehicle, therefore, required in the following events.

Most importantly, If a private vehicle has registered15 years from the date of registration.

And 5 years after the renewal-rc (registration certificate).

Besides, transfer of vehical to another state.

Stages of re registration of vehicle.

Firstly, fill the form 25.

Requirements to consider before re registration of vehicle for inspection of vehicle

Maintain the vehicle.

Consider denting and painting of your vehicle.

 To pass the pollution test the engine should be fine-tuned

Consider servicing and set your engine

All electrical equipment for instance backlight, sensors, the indicator should function.

Make sure the vehicle is functioning.

Similarly without problems in the pickup, extra noise in engine or suspension.
