8. Indian ID proof like birth certificate, Aadhar card (with English translation) if applicable.
9. Three sets of German visa application forms.

A private German health insurance which begins at your tentative travel date to Germany.

A public German health insurance consisting of a letter from your German healthcare provider and a travel health insurance for the first 3 weeks.

• What is German public health insurance?

1. No limit to the compensation in case of illness.
2. If the insured person becomes ill, an amount higher than 300 Euros per year can be demanded.
3. Pre-existing conditions must be included
4. No clause for termination of insurance even if the insured person reaches a certain age, changes his residence permit/losses his residence permit.
5. The Insurance policy cannot have any time limit (or needs to have automatic renewal instructions)
