Cambodia Visa on Arrival :

The International Corporation and MEA (Ministry of External Affairs) launched the Cambodia Tourist e-Visa service to enable tourists to apply online rather than having it done at any Cambodian airport. The online process is fast and convenient.

The fee has to be paid by a credit/debit card and once the tourist e-Visa is received, a print out of it has to be taken before entering Cambodia. It is a single-entry tourist visa which allows you to stay for a maximum of 30 days.

  • The validity of Cambodia tourist e-Visa is 3 months from the date of its issue.
  • Cambodia tourist e-Visa can be extended for a maximum of 30 days at the National Police Immigration Centre in Cambodia. You can process e Visa extension within 2 days
  • If you are unsure of the travelling date, you can modify the date even after applying for a Tourist e-Visa. However, this date has to fall within the validity period of your Tourist Visa.

Cambodia travel visa requirements

The documents required for Cambodia tourist Visa for Indians are:-

  • Original passport with a validity of at least 6 months from the expected arrival date in Cambodia.
  • One recently taken 4 × 6 cm photo on a white background.
  • Proof of your hotel booking or itinerary.
  • Any official document issued by your local government that confirms your identity, like a Voter ID or PAN card as a proof of identity.
  • Proof of current residence: This can be either an Aadhar card or a recent electricity bill.
  • A copy of the confirmed return aero plane tickets. If you plan to come by road, you should have a cover letter mentioning the visa for the next country, which can be Vietnam or Thailand

Please note that there is no option of a Visa on Arrival in Thailand when travelling by road from Cambodia. However, if you have already obtained a visa for Thailand, you can enter the border via the Aranyaprophet Checkpoint.

  • You can use credit card or bank statements to prove sufficient funds for your expenses in Cambodia.  Alternatively, you can have 500 USD in cash to cover at least 15 days of expenses.

Important Note: You can extend your e-Visa for up to 30 more days at the National Police Immigration Centre in Cambodia. To do this, you need to bring your passport, two passport-sized photos (4 × 6 cm), your e-Visa certificate, and pay a fee of 25 USD. It takes about 2 days to process the visa extension.
