Photograph specifications also play an important role while submitting the documents. There are few things to keep in mind while uploading the photographs. There are as follows:

1. Submit a new coloured photograph when you’re applying for a new application form. 
2. For hardcopy submission, the printed photograph must be submitted on a matte or semi matte finish (non- reflective photo)

The photograph guidelines for Singapore visa are as follows: 

1. Singapore visa photo size must be 400 * 514 pixels for uploading photos via visa e- services.  
2. It must be taken with even brightness. Not so dull and not so bright. 
3. The photograph must be taken within the past three months. 
4. The Facial expressions must be neutral. The mouth should be closed
5. The photograph must be clear, in sharp focus and not pixelated. 
6. The applicant’s hair and shoulders must be fully visible. 
7. The background of the photograph must be in white colour. 
8. The head gear/ attire must be dark in colour against the white background of the photograph. 
9. The eyes of the applicant must be visible clearly. The spectacles must have untinted lenses.
10. The applicant must wear non- coloured contact lenses and ensure no red eyes. 
11. The eyes must be looking at the camera. Facial expressions must be taken at full frontal view.  
12. The photograph must not be distorted/ flipped. In the case of flipped photographs, the hair and mole are different from the actual self. 
13. The digital photographs must be original without alterations using mobile app/ computer software. 

Note: You can not use selfie photographs for uploading in the application form. The result of the selfie is not ideal and will cause delay to the application process. Instead, ask someone to take a photograph if you are using a mobile phone camera.

The photograph will be accepted if it complies with the photo guidelines.
