How to apply for the learning driving license
Here is how to apply for a learning license to help you through the process:
Step 1: Log in to the Parivahan Website
- Visit the Parivahan website
- Select “Online Services” > “Driving License Related Services.”
- Choose “Maharashtra” as your state
- Select “Issue of Learners Licence” from the “Contactless License Services” pop-up
- Authenticate with or without Aadhaar
- With Aadhaar: Enter Aadhaar Number/Virtual I.D, OTP, and details
- Without Aadhaar: Select RTO > enter mobile number > fill in details
Step 2: Fill in Application Details
- Select the class of vehicles. You can select more than one class of vehicles
- Fill Form 1 (Application-cum-Declaration as to Physical Fitness) and check the declarations.
- Print the Acknowledgement receipt > Upload documents required for the learning license.
- Upload your signature and Photograph
- Pay the required fee > Print out the fee receipt.
- Go to the Fee Payments tab on the Parivahan website and click on Payment Status Verification.
- Select E-Payment and then click on the Application Fee option.
- Enter your application number and date of birth to check your payment status.
Step 3: Book an Appointment
- Select the Appointments option and move the cursor to Slot Booking.
- Click on LL Test Slot Booking
- Enter your application number, date of birth, and the captcha code as the verification code.
- Select the date that shows green in the digital calendar and set timings.
- Take a printout of the appointment slip by the Print Appointment Receipt option.
Step 4: Visit RTO Office
- Visit your RTO office on the appointment day, 30 minutes before the scheduled time. Carry copies and original documents required for a learning license
