The most convenient and safe option to reach Bali from India is flying. You can take flights to Ngurah Rai Airport in Denpasar, Bali from India. There are no direct flights to Bali. You can also fly from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata to Bali via Singapore or Kuala Lumpur.
The trip takes 8–12 hours. Depending on the season, flights cost around INR 25,000-50,000.
You can spend the night at Seminyak Beach, a place surrounded by stunning hotels, designer boutiques, lively cafés, and beaches. It takes 30 minutes to get to the airport. You can reach Seminyak by taxi or grab (Uber in Bali).
Main modes of transportation:
Bali does not have a train, tram, or metro system. It offers a lot of other options, like cars, Uber, taxis, scooters, and Bemos.
- Scooter: You can rent a scooter easily to go on day trips to various places. It is safe, convenient, and affordable.
- Taxi: It is good for going on small trips. You can book taxis from the Bluebird app. It is good for short rides.
- Car Rental: Cars can be rented for long-distance trips with families and friends.
- Grab: This is the ‘Uber’ of Bali. It is cheaper than a taxi and can be hailed via app.
- Bemos: If you have to go on a full-day trip with a family or friends group, rent a minibus called Bemo. It is inconvenient and unreliable, though.
Bali Itinerary 7 days
Day 1: Explore Seminyak beaches
Please check into a hotel or resort in Seminyak Beach after you arrive from the airport. You should explore the beach in the afternoon.
- Seminyak Beach: A fashionable seashore recognized for luxurious resorts, seashore clubs, and lovely sunsets. Great for relaxing, dining, and nightlife.
- Double Six Beach: A stretch of sand in Seminyak and Legian, ideal for seashore bars, informal dining, and sundown lounging.

- Tegallalang Rice Terraces: A gorgeous meadow recognized by UNESCO, famous for its breathtaking scenery and Instagram-worthy swing.
- Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary: The Holy Jungle Temple of Ubud, with hundreds of playful Bali long-tailed monkeys.

Day 4: Ubud Volcano & Waterfalls Adventure
You have to start very early in the morning for the full-day trip to Ubud from Seminyak beach via car or taxi. You must be ready to hike and enjoy the following spots during the day trip:
- Go for trekking at Mount Batur to watch Sunrise at dawn.
- Then, relax at Toya Devasya Hot Springs in the morning.
- In the afternoon, you can explore:
- Tibumana Waterfall: A hidden gem waterfall surrounded by gorgeous jungle, perfect for peaceful swimming and nature photography.
- Tegenungan Waterfall: This is one of the most famous waterfalls in Bali, near Ubud, offering powerful cascades and swimming areas.
In the evening, go shopping in Ubud or explore the food items in their cafés. Please return to the Seminyak beach in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Canggu and Seminyak Trip
Canggu beach is 10 km and a 20 minutes by car from Seminyak Beach. So, you can enjoy the best of both world in one day. You can visit the following places on both beaches:
- Tanah Lot Temple: This majestic sea temple is renowned for its rocky formation and breathtaking views of the sunset and sacred Balinese rituals.
- Potato Head Beach Club: Seminyak’s trendy beach club offering an infinity pool, world-class cocktails, and a lively party atmosphere.
You can explore Canggu’s beaches for surfing & relaxing during the afternoon.
In the evening, you must enjoy Seminyak nightlife & rooftop bars for their food and drinks.
Day 6: Day Trip to Uluwatu & its Hidden Beaches
You should explore the beauty of the Hidden Beaches during a day trip. It includes the following beaches:
- Padang Padang Beach: A hidden beach surrounded by limestone cliffs known for surfing, clear water, and eating the fame of eating love.
- Suluban Beach (Uluwatu): A remote paradise for surfers hidden beneath a limestone cave that leads to breathtaking cliffs and the famous Ulwatu waves.
- Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park: You should do a sunset dinner at Rock Bar, Jimbaran on your way back to Seminyak Beach.
Day 7: Shopping at Kuta Beach & Departure
You must go to Kuta in the morning from Seminyak Beach before your departure. It takes 20 minutes via Uber, taxi, or car.
You can do your last-minute souvenir shopping at Kuta Art Market or Beachwalk Mall in the afternoon or morning.
Please check out of the hotel in Seminyak Beach & head to the DPS airport at least 3 hours before your scheduled flight to India.
Departure to India from Bali
You can take a taxi, car, or cab from Kuta. It takes 15 minutes from Kuta to Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), Denpasar, Bali. It is advisable to book return tickets 2–3 months in advance. There are no direct flights from Bali to the metro cities in India. It takes 8–12 hours. You have to stop over in Singapore or Kuala Lumpur.
Bali Trip in 5 or 10 days
The number of days you want to spend in Bali, Indonesia, depends on what you want to see, what you want to do, and how deeply you want to explore the island. Plan your trip to Bali for 5–10 days and discover the beaches, local attractions, spas, and massages. Enjoy seafood and try water sports such as sea diving during your 10-day trip.
