  1. Complete DS-160 form online at CEAC Govt. portal.
  2. Pay visa application fee.
  3. Schedule appointment at US visa application center  and US Embassy/Consulate.
  4. Attend visa interview.

For immigrant visa, you have to submit the DS-260 form with police clearance certificate and medical certificate.

After you complete visa application form, you have to pay fees before appointment for non immigrant type of US visa.

  1. Visit US scheduling official website  and create profile.
  2. After login, choose schedule appointment option and where select payment confirmation option.

Payments method for Immigrant US visa

If you apply through National Visa Centre, you pay fees at NVC. You can pay immigrant visa fee at US Embassy or Consulates:

  • Cash in US dollars or Indian rupees
  • Rupee bank draft from nationalized or foreign bank

Prepare draft in name of “American Embassy, New Delhi” and pay at any bank in Delhi. For Mumbai, prepare draft in name of “U.S. Consulate General, Mumbai” and pay at any bank in Mumbai. You can also pay by credit card at Mumbai Consulate.
