How to cancel the Passport Appointment?

If you still want to cancel here is how to cancel passport appointment

1. Visit the official website of Passport Seva.
2. Click on “Existing User Login” and log in using you log in ID.
3. Choose the option “View saved/ submitted applications”
4. Click on “Payment and Appointment” and choose schedule appointment for enquiry at passport office.
5.  Choose the option you want: “Reschedule appointment” in case you want to change the date and time or “Cancel appointment”.
6. Click on “OK” to cancel you appointment.
7.  On the next page, your appointment number would be shown cancel on the screen.

If you plan changes or you want to again book your appointment, then also you can do it easily.

1. Again, choose the option “View saved/ submitted applications”
2. Click on “Payment and Appointment” and choose schedule appointment for enquiry at passport office.
3. Click on “Next”
4. Enter the character that would be displayed on the screen.
5. On the next page, slots will be shown and you can book your passport appointment as per your convenience.

What Happens After Passport Appointment Cancellation?

Once you confirm the cancellation –

• Your booked slot at the Passport Seva Kendra is released.
• The application is marked as cancelled
• The fee stays valid under your ARN for one year.

If you want to apply for passport again, you can reuse the same ARN and fee within that one year window.

What happens if I miss my passport appointment date?

If you could not attend scheduled appointment and didn’t cancel or reschedule in time, your status will show as “No Show.”

• A “No Show” counts as one of your allowed attempts to cancel/reschedule.
• You can log in again and use your remaining chance to book a new slot.
• Your application data and payment stay valid for one year.
