While applying for passport in Hyderabad, you need to choose the category on the basis of age. The categories are : 

Adult passport: Indians above 18 years of age can apply for adult category of passport .

Minor passport: Indians below 18 years of age are eligible to apply under minor category. The minor must have a separate passport as per the Indian passport act. There are two categories of minor passports based on the validity of the passport, i.e.

    Validity of Indian passport
