NOC cancellation

Get Non utilization certificate or non-migration certificate from the RTO for which NOC was issued
Submit the RC, NOC and non utilization certificate to the parent RTO.

1. How can I get NOC in Hyderabad?

Process for car NOC in Hyderabad is not online completely . Application can be filled online. Fees can be paid online . However physical submission of application forms and supporting documents is required at Hyderabad RTO.

Go to the Telangana transport department website
Click on 'Vehicle related Services'

4. How long car NOC is valid in Hyderabad?

NOC for vehicle should be submitted to the new RTO within 30 days from the date of issue NOC . Beyond 30 days there is late fine when you will go for re-registration of vehicle.

The penalty amount for car is Rs. 500 per month. For bike penalty is Rs. 300 per month.

5. I am transferring my vehicle from Hyderabad to Mumbai which is on loan from bank. Is it necessary to repay full loan amount to get NOC from RTO ?

NOC from bank is required if vehicle is hypothecated to bank and you are applying for vehicle NOC from RTO.

You have 2 options in this scenario :

Either you can repay complete loan and remove hypothecation
Or you can get loan continuation letter from the bank .

6. What is the procedure to transfer two wheeler from Hyderabad to Bangalore?

7. How much road tax I will have to pay in the state where I am moving vehicle ?

Once you get NOC from Hyderabad , you need to pay road tax in the city where you have moved your vehicle and also need to do re-registration of vehicle. Road tax amount will depend on the road tax rate for that particular vehicle category and should be paid on the depreciated value of the vehicle. It will be for remaining life time period of the vehicle.

8. Can we ride a bike in another state?

You can ride bike in another state for 1 year period as per motor vehicle act. After this period its compulsory to re-register the bike.

9. My car is registered in Rangareddy district , Telangana . There is loan running on it . Now I need NOC for car to Pune . What Should I do ?

You will have to take NOC from bank which is also called loan continuation letter before applying for NOC for your car in the RTO . Application for NOC along with other supporting documents and loan continuation letter is to be the submitted to the concerned RTO where vehicle is registered . Requisite RTO fees is to be deposited . After completing formalities , application will be processed and NOC will be issued.

10. Is NOC mandatory for two wheeler vehicle in Hyderabad?

You can drive two wheeler vehicle in other state in Hyderabad for a maximum period of 1 year without taking NOC. After 1 year period registering of other state vehicle in mandatory .

11. How many days can we drive another state vehicle in Hyderabad?

You can drive vehicle in Hyderabad without taking NOC for maximum one year period. Its mandatory to re-register other state vehicle after 1 year period, otherwise there is fine for it.

13. How to cancel NOC for car/bike transfer issued by RTO Hyderabad?

If you have to cancel the issued NOC for vehicle for any reason, you can do it. It needs to get non migration certificate from destination RTO and then submit it for cancellation of NOC at RTO Hyderabad.

14. I want to apply for NOC of my car which is registered in Hyderabad. I have got vehicle crime report from Govt.'s NCRB site. Can I submit the same crime report to RTO for the vehicle NOC application ?

The vehicle crime report which is available on the NCRB website is not sufficient to apply for NOC for vehicle in the RTO. You will have to get crime report from the traffic police office in Hyderabad.

15. I have taken NOC for my car 3 years back, but I didn't register it in the new RTO. Now I want to register. How much will be the late fine ?

To re-register car in Hyderabad, you will have to pay 2 types of late fine :

Rs. 500 late fine per month
Interest on the road tax payable amount . Normally its 1% per month on the road tax amount.
