Driving License in Ranchi is issued by Regional Transport Authority/office ( RTA/RTO) based on area of jurisdiction . For the first step of issuing driving licence, Citizens would be able to apply for the learning licence online and without going to RTO office . This service is only available in contactless mode Some of the RTOs do not have the facility of online booking of slots. If the facility is available and slots are not available, consult the RTO Ranchi as the slots are released as per their requirements.
