      If you are applying for Italy visa from India, you need to have these documents. Make sure you have:
      1. Passport which is valid for a minimum of 3 months. It should contain at least two blank pages. All page of the ID page, past travel entry and exit stamps should be scanned.
      2. 2 passport size photographs 
      3. Personal covering letter 
      4. Proposed itinerary of travel
      5. Travel tickets (both ways)
      6. Proof of financial funds such as individual income, bank statements of last 3 months, and tax returns.
      7. Proof of accommodation
      8. Travel Insurance policy should cover expenses of a minimum of 30,000 euros
      Supporting documents as per your occupation
      1. If Employed:

        1. Original Company NOC with stamp
        2. Last 3 months salary slip.
        2. If Self Employed:
        1. Business Registration Certificate / MOA / Partnership deal
        2. Company’s updated bank statement of last 3 months
        3. Company’s IT returns for last 3 years
        4. Cover letter from company’s letterhead
        3. If Retired:
        Proof of retirement like pension book, statement of last 3 months

        4. If Student:
        1. School / College / Institute ID Card
        2. No objection certificate (NOC) from school/university
        3. For university students: Last 3 months bank statements
        5. If Minor:
        Notary affidavit with the consent of the parents(if traveling alone or with a single parent).

        7. If Sponsored:
        1. Sponsorship letter
        2. Sponsor’s national ID proof like Passport, PAN card or Resident permit;
        3. Sponsor’s last 3 months bank statement
        4. if the sponsor is your spouse: the marriage certificate
        5. if the sponsor is your parents: birth certificate

        1. Invitation letter
        2. Inviter’s ID proof like Passport or Resident Permit

        2. For Business Visa:
        1. Invitation letter from host Company stating the purpose of the trip, business details, etc;

        3. Company bank statement
        4. Company Registration Proof

        3. For Italy Transit Visa:
        1. Valid visa of a particular destination Schengen country
        2. Flight Ticket to your destination country and return tickets as well

        • Recent photo within the last 6 months
        • Light-colored background
        • Size: 35-40 mm wide 
        • Face should cover 70-80% of the image

        • Look directly at the camera with a neutral expression 
        • Eyes should be open and clearly visible 
        • Mouth should be closed 
        • Both sides of your face should be visible 
        • No shadows, reflections, or red eyes

        • Prescription glasses are okay, but: 
          • Frames shouldn't cover your eyes 
          • Lenses shouldn't be colored 
          • No flash reflections on the lens
