If an applicant has long layover in Sri Lanka then they can apply for transit visa which enables to go out from the arrival point and explore the sites. This visa is valid for two to seven days depending on your layover. If your stay is longer than seven days, then you well be charged an additional amount.
Sri Lanka Student Visa- Student Visa is provided to those who are coming to Sri Lanka to pursue a course. The approval of this type of visa is processed in Colombo by the Department of Immigration. This visa is valid till the duration of the course. The stay time also depends on the duration of the course a student is pursuing.
