Sweden Visa for Indian

Documents required for Sweden Visa

1. A passport with validity of atleast three months after leaving a Schengen country. The passport must have a two or more blank visa pages.
2. Passport size photograph
3. Personal cover letter
4. Travel itinerary
5. Flight tickets.
6. Proof of confirmed accommodation
7. Travel health insurance which covers up to 30,000 euros in medical expenses, including the event of death, has to be submitted. 
8. Proof of financial means: Copy of bank statements covering the last 3 months, Income tax declaration for the last two assessment years. 

1. If employed: Pay slips for the last three months, employment contract and employers statement
2. For Student: letter confirming enrolment in the college /university.
3. If Self-Employed: PAN registration and bank statements covering the last 3 months/Company Registration proof.
4. For Pensioner: Pension statement for the last three months or proof of regular income generated by ownership of property or business

Additional documents for business purposes:

1. Invitation letter from the company in Sweden applicant will be visiting and their complete address along with the dates of the visit
2. A certificate from your employer allowing the business travel and stating the details about the trip.
3. Proof of previous trade relations between the two companies, if such events have occurred.
   
4. Bank statement of the last 6 months of the company

Sweden Visa Photo requirements

1. Photo Size of 35mm wide and 45 mm high.
2. The face should cover the majority of the frame 
3. The applicant should be looking straight ahead, at the camera, with the full face being visible. 
4. The image should be colored, recent (taken within the last 6 months), in true likeness, natural, contrast between the face and background, undamaged, and original.
5. The quality of the image should be 400 dpi resolution or higher, and printed on smooth, good-quality paper. 
6. No reflection or shadows should be visible.
7. The head and shoulders should be perfectly straight, not tilted in any direction, and the eyes should look straight. 
8. Background needs to be light (plain, light grey, light blue, or white) and in one color and shade only. 
9. The head should not be covered by any headgear, eyes and face should be very clear.
10. A neutral expression is to be maintained with eyes open and mouth closed.
11. If the head is covered due to religious reasons, ensure that the head covering is plain and the facial features such as the eyes, nose, lips, cheeks, chin and forehead are yet clearly visible.
