If you want to travel Tajikistan for tourism or business purposes, it needs to get Tajikistan visa for Indians. Tajikistan e visa enables the citizens of India to enter the country for any of the purposes.
The electronic visa system (e- Visa) is useful as it allows Indian citizens to receive Tajikistan visa online, and also relieving them from necessity to stand in queues in Tajikistan consulates or at the immigration counters.
Once the application has been successfully approved, the applicant will receive their Tajikistan e visa on their registered email address. This document is to be presented upon crossing the state border of Tajikistan, along with a valid travel document, to the immigration authorities at the ports of entry.

Types of Tajikistan Visa
The E-Visa (electronic visa) of the Republic of Tajikistan is valid for 90 days, and the visa holder is not permitted to stay in the territory of the country for more than 45 consecutive calendar days. The issued electronic visa is not extendable, and the visa holder will have to leave the country by the specified date shown on their E-visa. The Embassy of Tajikistan in New Delhi only has its own website for Standard Visa and Visa-on-arrival applications. Indians have to apply for Visa-on-arrival online before their intended date of departure. You have to show your documents again at the Dushanbe and Khujand international airport to obtain your Visa-on-arrival.
Visa-on-arrival can be extended, except for Tourist visa. You can extend your Visa at the Main Consular Department of MoFA in Dushanbe.

Visa Fees
The Consular fee for Tajikistan e-Visa and Visa-on-arrival.
The consular fee for Tajikistan e-Visa application can be made only in US Dollars. Indians do not need to have a USD account. An equivalent amount in Indian Rupees will be deducted from your bank account.
The consular fee for Tajikistan e-Visa application is non-refundable.
Visa processing time
The Tajikistan e-Visa is processed within 30 minutes of payment of the consular fee. The website advises Indians to apply for an e-Visa at least 2 weeks before your intended date of travel to Tajikistan.
