How to apply for a Passport in Delhi?

To apply for a fresh passport in Delhi, follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. First, you need to register yourself through the  web portal.
  2. After that, login to the portal with your unique login ID.
  3. Then, go to the “Apply or Re-issue” option.
  4. Fill  in all the details requested carefully in the form and submit it.
  5. Click on the “Pay and Schedule Appointment” option on the “View Saved or Submitted Applications” webpage to schedule an appointment. Online payment has been made compulsory for scheduling appointments, so you have to proceed by using debit or credit cards, internet banking, or by SBI challans.
  6. Next, you will have to click on the “Print Application Receipt” to get the application receipt mentioning your appointment number or Application Reference Number (ARN). Now you can skip carrying this printout of your application receipt to the PSK since an SMS mentioning your ARN and other details confirms your appointment.
  7. Finally, visit the Passport Seva Kendra Delhi where you have booked your appointment with all the required documents.
