RTO Karnataka

RTO Karnataka is a Regional Transport Office which is an organization under the control of the Ministry of road transport and Highway. It came into existence through the law (MVA) Motor Vehicle Act, of 1988. whose primary work is to collect and maintain the database of vehicles and drivers from all over the country. The Karnataka state government appoints the state transport commissioner to govern RTO Karnataka.

Services Offered By RTO Karnataka

The RTO Karnataka performs several functions.

  1. The RTO Karnataka actively enforces the laws mentioned under the Motor Vehicles Act (MVA). Motor Vehicle Act, 1988.
  2. The RTO Karnataka actively enforces the new rules set by the central and state governments.
