Sevana Marriage Registration 

Within 45 days following the marriage’s solemnization, the Sevana Marriage Registration application must be submitted. There is a prescribed form for applying, Form No.1, which is available at the registrar’s offices for free.

To complete the Sevana Marriage Registration, you will need a memorandum in the duplicate form related to Form No. I, as well as one passport-size photo of each spouse, for a total of three photos. Two images will be used in the memorandum and one will be used in the marriage registration.

Sevana Marriage Certificate Registration Fee

Along with the filing of the memorandum for registration, a Sevana Marriage Certificate Registration Fee of Rs. 100 must be paid. An Rs.20 marriage certificate fee can also be paid at the time of registration, bringing the total to Rs.120.

The registration cost for SC, ST, or BPL persons would be Rs.10. If the application is made after 45 days of the solemnization and within a year of the marriage, a certificate in Form II, as well as a fee of Rs. 100, must be presented.

Step 4: Fill in the blanks with the information listed below.

* Marriage location

 * Registration number

 * Key number 

Step 5: Click on the search result after entering the captcha Image information. The Marriage Certificate will appear on the next screen. 

If the Marriage Certificate Data is not available online, you must apply in person at the Panchayat/Municipality/Corporation.

Online Kerala Marriage Registration 

To complete the Sevana Marriage Registration within one year of the solemnization, follow the steps below. The information must be provided before the wedding date, however, the sevana civil registration marriage certificate application can only be submitted after the wedding has been solemnized.

Step 1: Go to the Sevana website.

Step 1: From the Documents menu, select Registration of Marriages.
