Spain business visa application procedure

Indians have to apply for Spain business visa at any Spain visa application centres (VACs) under the BLS International in India. You need to download the Schengen Visa form, fill it out. Then you have to visit Spain VAC by booking an appointment to submit application form and documents. It needs to give your biometrics and pay the visa fees.

3. Book an appointment at your nearest Spain VAC online on BLS website
4. Click on “Create an Account” and Log in using your password and email ID
5. Enter your personal details and Chose your Visa type as “Schengen Visa” and purpose of visit as “Business”.
6. Choose your nearest Spain VAC.
7. Choose your desired date and time from the available slots in the calendar.
8. Submit your details and download the confirmation form.
9. On the day of appointment, bring your Visa application form, documents, confirmation form and visa fee.
10. Pay the Visa fee.

Spain business visa requirements

The following documents are required for Spain Business Visa in:

1. Duly signed and filled up Schengen Visa application form.
2. 1 printed photo on the Visa application form.
3. Indian passport valid for at least 6 months from beyond your date of departure from Spain and contain 2 blanks pages.
4. Photocopy of the biometric page of your passport, old visas and migration stamps.
5. Travel medical insurance of 30000 Euros.

1. Business meetings: Original invitation letter from a Spain-based company. It must be written in Spanish. The letter should mention the purpose of the visit; the existing commercial relationship with the applicant; his/her name and passport number, as well as the envisaged travel dates.​

2. Business event or seminar: Original letter of invitation from the organizers. The letter must mention the name and passport number of the Indian, duration of the event, whether the expenses of the travel and accommodation shall be paid by him or by his organizers, and involvement of the Indian in the event.
3. Corporate participation in a business seminar: A cover letter of the applicants’ company. The letter should mention the names of its employees travelling to Spain.

The photo requirements for Spain Business Visas are:

1. The photo must not be older than 3 months,
2. The photo size should be 35-45mm,
3. It should be a coloured photo
4. The photo must be taken with a light background,
5. You must directly face the camera,
6. Please don’t wear dark or reflective glasses, or any garments that conceals your face.
7. Photos of Minors must not show any part of the adult holding them.  
8. All facial features must be clearly visible. The photo must show 80% of the face.
