Other Requirements 

  1. Duly filled application form (to get the application form for a driver’s licence, visit the nearest RTO or download it from the online portal for your state form4a)
  2. Cost for learning license or cost for a learner’s permit
  3. If you are staying in other cities, as current address proof, you can present the rental agreement with one recent utility bill copy which can be a gas bill or an electricity bill.
  4. Medical Certificate is mandatory for all applicants over the age of 40 years.

How to apply for learning license online?

  1. First, go to the Parivahan Portal 
  2. Click on Drivers/ Learners License
  3. And then you have to choose your state from the drop down
  4. Click on “Application for New Learner’s License”
  5. Fill out the learner’s license application form and pay fees for learner’s permit
  6. Click “Next” to proceed further
  7. Visit the Road Transport Office (RTO) on the scheduled date. Carry your original documents and the fee receipt.

  3. Fill the application form. Upload documents and pay the fee. Note your application number
