You need to upload one digital photo while online filling out visa application . In addtion , it is necessary to bring a printed recent-passport sized photo for Ghana Visa application submission.

The photo requirements for Ghana Visa are as follows:

1. The photo dimensions must be 600×600 pixels. The maximum dimensions are 1200x1200pixels.
2. The photo’s file size must be less than 1MB.
3. Your head must cover roughly 80% of the picture frame.
4. Sunglasses and a hat or other head covering are not allowed, except for religious belief or ethnic background.
5. Photo should not be older than 6 months
6. It must be taken against a white or off-white background.
7. The digital image must be in JPEG, JPG, PNG or GIF file format.

How do I know if my Ghana visa is approved

You will receive 4 notifications from the Embassy/Ghana Missions in India about Visa progress.

1. The first notification will be when the Online Ghana Visa application is successfully submitted.
2. The second notification is sent when the Online Ghana Visa form and other supporting documents are submitted at Ghana Mission/Embassy in India.
3. The third notification will be about visa approval/denials and the collection date.If your Visa is approved, you will receive a collection date too.
4. On the collection date, Go to the Consular Section and collect it within the stipulated time.

Consulate timings for visa application

1. The Consular Section of the Embassy of New Delhi and other Ghana Missions in India oversees and approves the Ghana Visas from India.
2. The Consular Section of New Delhi is open from 9 am to 11 am from Monday to Friday. You can collect your Visa from 3pm to 5pm after your Ghana Visa is approved.
3. The Consular Section of Mumbai is open from 10 am to 12 noon from Monday to Friday.
4. The Consular Section of Kolkata is open from 9 am to 11 am from Monday to Friday. You can collect your Visa from 3pm to 5pm after your Ghana Visa is approved.
