  • Weather conditions:  During these months, you will see extreme summer conditions in most parts of the country. Desert areas often rise above 40 degree C. The experience in Salalah’s southern section, however, is very different. There is the beginning of the monsoon season, also known as Khareef season.
  • Major events and festivals:
    • Salalah Tourism Festival: It is the season’s main attraction. Travelers take pleasure in dancing, traditional Omani music, cultural shows, and enjoyable activities.
    • Islamic Festivals: Festivals like Eid- Al- Adha fall during this period. You can witness the festive spirit, traditional meals and local customs. It will offer you deep cultural insight.
