eChallan is online traffic fine given by Andhra Pradesh Traffic Police. It is issued when traffic rule is broken and caught by CCTV cameras or traffic police.

  • You should pay the challan within 15 days
  • If you pay late, extra charges may apply
  • The final time limit to pay is 60 days
  • If you do not pay, it can lead to legal action, license suspension or jail

How to pay AP eChallan

There are various methods through which you can pay eChallan –

Using the AP eChallan Website

  • Visit  E-Challan for AP
  • Enter your Vehicle Number and the Captcha.
  • Select the challan you want to pay from the list of issued e-challans and choose your payment gateway.
  • Proceed with the payment after going through the challan details.
  • After successfully paying your challan, you will receive your transaction ID and confirmation via mail and SMS.

Using the AP eChallan App

  • Open the AP e challan app after downloading it from Google Playstore.
  • Create an account using Gmail or Facebook, mobile number and remember your password by clicking on “Sign up”
  • Log in using your account credentials.
  • Search your Challan using RC/DL number/ Challan ID. You can also scan the QR code of the challan receipt for paying it on the road.
  • Select the challan you want to pay from the list of issued e challans and choose your payment gateway.
  • Proceed with the payment after going through the challan details.
  • You will receive confirmation and transaction ID on the app itself.

How to register complaint for incorrect challan in Andhra Pradesh

  • Go to the AP Police citizen portal
  • Open E-Complaint
  • Enter your vehicle number, challan ID, and contact details
  • Choose the complaint type: Wrong Challan
  • Submit the complaint and save the reference number to track it later

What happens if I don't pay the challan?

Your vehicle details will be marked as “Blacklisted” on the Vahan portal. You will not be able to renew your fitness certificate, transfer ownership, or renew insurance until the fine is cleared

How can I download challan history?

Visit AP Police Citizen Services then go to eChallan section. Enter Details then click search and get details. You can review history here. See pending/paid challans, violation date, fine, CCTV image (if available). Select challan and then pay the fee and generate receipt. Download Receipt

    helmet,disobedience of orders at 18:33:53 MARRIPALEM

    This is wrong Chalana i am not challan
    I am major without documents checking direct one photo snap 635 rupees chalana drop please check the my documents after issued the orders
    I am not Use helmet ok but not another chalana orders not accepted
