- Valid Insurance Certificate of the vehicle
- For commercial vehicles, the challan agreement from the traffic department & Enforcement Wing
- Affidavit of RC has been misplaced or lost and any authority hasn’t seized it
- Copy of PAN
- Pencil print of Chassis
- Signature Identification of the owner
- Proof of address
- Valid copy of PUC
How to get duplicate RC book online
Following are the steps to apply for online duplicate RC book:
- Visit the official government website Parivahan Seva
- Register or log in to your account
- Go to Online Services and select Vehicle related services
- Choose state of RTO
- Enter your vehicle registration number and Chassis no
- Choose the reason for applying for duplicate RC
- Complete the online application form
- Fill in the insurance details correctly
- Select appointment date and time at your nearest RTO
- Upload all required documents in PDF format
- Pay the required fee
- Download and save the payment receipt
- Visit the selected RTO office on the appointment date
- Carry all original documents and photocopies
Your duplicate RC will be sent to you by post within 30 days. If you don’t get your duplicate RC after 30 days, contact your RTO.

To get a duplicate RC offline, you have to apply to the concerned RTO where vehicle is originally registered. An FIR can also be lodged online.
