Temporary Vehicle Registration in UP RTO
You can get temporary registration from the registering authority. It is valid for up to one month and cannot be extended.
- The process takes around 3 working days.
- The vehicle must be ready for inspection.
Permanent Vehicle Registration in UP RTO
To register private vehicle permanently in RTO Uttar Pradesh, you need to:
- Fill and submit Form 20 to the Transport Department or RTO Office UP (downloadable online or available at the RTO).

Following is procedure for renewal of RC
- First, you have to visit the parivahan official website open this website and select menu to online service, open drop down menu and select vehicle related services option.
- Now select state from drop down menu. Then select state redirect vahan parivahan website.
- Open new page and on the left side, select the stare and RTO. Click on proceed.
- Select menu to RC related service. Click on ‘Renewal of Registration’.
- Enter the registration number and chassis number. Now click on validation registration number/ chassis number button.
