Po Lin Monastery was called ‘The Big Hut’ in the beginning. It was built in 1906 after three monks visited the area. The place is free and opens between 9 am to 6pm. There are fishing ponds, hiking trails and other things you can try out beside the temple visit.
Hong Kong Disneyland
A branch of Disneyland, this famous theme park complex features 7 areas with rides, shows and welcoming costumed characters. There is also a light and sound show that occurs from 8pm IST. One day is enough to cover major rides and areas, but you might want to spare 2 days to enjoy the whole place.
