Temporary Vehicle Registration in UP RTO

  • A vehicle owner may register their vehicle incidentally with a registering authority. Temporary vehicle registration is valid for a maximum of one month and cannot be reinstated. The process takes about three days and requires the vehicle owner to prepare the vehicle for inspection.

Permanent Vehicle Registration in UP RTO

  • A recommendation Form 20 must be completed and submitted to the Transport Department/ RTO in your area for the registration of another private vehicle.You can download form 20 from the website or can get it from the UP RTO(RTO Uttar Pradesh).
  • A candidate must present the merchant/sales producer’s certificate, the maker’s roadworthiness declaration, attested copies of vehicle insurance papers, address proof, a unique print of the vehicle chassis number, and other documents.
  • Receipt of a one-time street assessment paid to the vehicle office, as well as payment of the registration fee
  • A registration number will be distributed to the vehicle after vehicle examination by the registration expert.

Renewal of Uttar Pradesh vehicle registration details

As RC book contains all the documents for vehicle, it needs to be updated and original. If you plan to buy old vehicle then first check the vehicle RC book and vehicle details. If both the details match, then only buy the old vehicle. Apply for renewal of vehicle of certificate in UP RTO (RTO Uttar Pradesh) of registration in Form 25 to the Registering Authority in whose jurisdiction the vehicle is, not more than 60 days before the date of its expiry.

Forms that required at the RTO Office UP

While applying for any of the RTO services through UP RTO, there is a need to fill out the respective service-related form. Following are the forms that required in the UP RTO:

1. Form no. 1:

In the category of the driving license first application form is Form no. 1. This form knows as application cum declaration as to physical fitness. This form needs fill out by applicants to check their physical fitness. That he has suffered from any disease or disability that can affect their driving skills.

2. Form no. 1A:

The next form in the category is the driving license form no. 1A or you call it a medical certificate. For verifying the information filled in form no. 1 this form used.

3. Form no. 20:

This form 20 comes under vehicle registration. This form knows as the application for registration of a motor vehicle. If the applicant wants to register his motor vehicle then he or she needs to fill out this form.

In this form, they need to mention the details of the vehicle such as type of vehicle, fuel engine used in the vehicle, seating capacity, etc.

4. Form no. 26:

Form no. 26 is used for the duplicate certificate of registration. If the applicant lost his original registration certificate then by filling out this form they can apply for a duplicate registration certificate.

5. Form no. 27:

Form no. 27 is known as the application for the assignment of a new registration mark to a motor vehicle. This form is to be filled out by the applicant when they want to register their vehicle once again. This situation occurs when an applicant moves from one state to another state.

6. Form no. 28:

Form no. 28 is known as the application and grant of no objection certificate. As per the name, it is a form for getting the no objection certificate for getting a driving license.

7. Form no. 30:

Form no. 30 is used when a person transfers his ownership of the vehicle to another person then this form needs to submit to the rto. In this form details such as transferee and transferor, etc needs to mention.

8. Form no. 31:

This form 31 is filled out. If the vehicle owner is deceased and the applicant is willing to take over the ownership of the vehicle.

Procedure for renewal of Uttar Pradesh vehicle registration details

Here is the procedure for renewal of RC in UP RTO (RTO Uttar Pradesh)

  • First, you have to visit the parivahan official website open this website and select menu to online service, open drop down menu and select vehicle related services option.
  • Now select state from drop down menu. Then select state redirect vahan parivahan website.
  • Open new page and on the left side, select the stare and RTO. Click on proceed.
  • Select menu to RC related service. Click on ‘Renewal of Registration’.
  • Enter the registration number and chassis number. Now click on validation registration number/ chassis number button.
  • Now, select your registration number and next process is to fill the form and pay fees for renewal application fees.
  • Submit application successfully and then you will get renewal of vehicle registration certificate (RC) of vehicle.
