Check Aadhar Card status online

You can track Aadhar card status online through UIDAI portal using any of the following number.

• Enrolment number
• URN number
• SRN number
• SID number

Track Aadhar Card Status using Enrolment ID

You will get acknowledgement slip after applying at Aadhar enrolment center. You can find 14 digit enrolment number, printed on acknowledgement slip. 

Following are the steps to check Aadhar status using enrolment ID:

1. Visit the website UIDAI 
2. Click on “Check Enrolment or Update Status”
3. Select check by Enrolment number
4. Enter the enrolment number
5. Select date and time
6. Click on the ‘Submit’
7. View the status

If your Aadhar is ready, it will show “Your Aadhar has been generated” on the screen. You can download your Aadhar card.

Check Aadhar card status online using URN

You will get 8 digit Updating Request Number (URN) after you applied online for updating Aadhar.

Following are the steps to check status using URN :

1. Visit the website UIDAI 
2. Click on “Check Enrolment or Update Status”
3. Enter the URN
4. Click submit to view the status

Track Aadha status using SRN

You will get Service Request Number (SRN) if you apply for Aadhar update. You can find it on acknowledgement slip as ‘S’ followed by 13 digits.

Following are the steps to check Aadhar status using SRN:

1. Visit the website UIDAI 
2. Click on “Check Enrolment or Update Status”
3. Select check by SRN number
4. Enter the SRN number
5. Click on the ‘Submit’
6. View the status

Steps to Check Aadhaar Card status using SID

If you have applied for an Aadhaar update or correction, you can track the request using the Service Request ID (SID) provided at the time of submission.

• Visit the UIDAI website
• Click on “Check Enrolment or Update Status”
• Select check by SID number
• Enter the SID number
• Click on the ‘Submit’

Aadhar card status check through phone call

If you can’t check Aadhar card status online, you can track Aadhar update status by calling UIDAI’s toll-free number 1947.

When you dial 1947, you will be connected to the interactive voice response system (IVR). Choose correct option to view the update status.
