  1. Go to the Sarthi Parivahan website.
  2. Choose your state.
  3. Go to the Learning Licence Menu
  4. Select the Expired Learners Licence Issue Option to renew learning license.
  5. Enter your Learners License Number and Date of Birth (DOB).
  6. You will need to provide your details, upload documents, and pay the application fees.
  7. Proceed to the next level for OTP verification on your registered mobile number.
  8. Once submitted, your new Learner’s License will be issued within a few days. You can check the status online.
  9. When ready, you can book an appointment and visit the RTO to get your new Learner’s License card.

To renew learning license you need to apply for a fresh one

  1. Pay Rs. 150 to apply for the learners license (Form 3). So, to renew learning licence fee you need to pay is Rs. 150
  2. If you have to take a test at the RTO. This costs Rs. 50.
  3. If you fail the test, you can take it again by paying Rs. 50 again.
  4. When you pass the test, you need to show you can drive that vehicle. This driving test costs Rs. 300 for each type of vehicle you want a learning license for.
  5. If you fail the driving test, you can take it again by paying Rs. 300 again.

In India, the procedure of renew learning license offline is relatively simple. It may be completed by anyone of legal age. Every city has its own RTO, making it easy for people to visit and renew their learner’s permit. The following is the procedure for renewing a learner’s permit:

  1. Look for the Regional Transport Office in your city. Choose the one nearest to your registered address.
  2. Visit the RTO and request a renewal form for your learners license validity extension.
  3. After filling up the papers with information such as your name, address, postal code, and Aadhaar Car number, you must submit the paperwork along with the needed documents.
  4. Before completing the papers, you must also present authentic documentation for verification of age and address to the RTO.
  5. The RTO will issue renew learning licenseto the registered address once the papers and forms are received and confirmed.

  2. From menu, select ‘Online Services.’
