How to get Uganda visa for Indians?

Indians have to apply for a Uganda e-visa. After processing the application, you will get an approval letter that allows you to travel to Uganda. But confirmation for entry to Uganda depends on the immigration office at the port of entry.

  • First of all, Start your Uganda e- visa application through Uganda Electronic Immigration System by visiting it
  • Login and click Start Application.
  • Select the application type and category of approval (Uganda Regular Visa/Tourist Visa). Subcategories are automatically  set to a single entry.
  • Fill out the application form.
  • The Uganda e-Visa form format is divided into 4 categories: group data, personal data (name, surname, date of birth, etc.), passport data, and different data. 
  • Upload the required documents: To provide all required files in supported format (PDF, JPEG, PNG, and BMP) with a minimal file measurement of 5 KB and a maximum of 250 KB. 
  • Submit your application. After submission, you will receive a notification with your application number for tracking. 
  • Pay your visa fee. Go to the Immigration Portal, click on Apply, and pick out Manage Application. Enter your application ID, passport number. 
  • After approval, you will get approval letter on email Id.

The extra documents might also be required for the duration of the approval process. New documents can be submitted electronically through Manage Applications.

Uganda visa requirements for Indian

  • Valid Indian Passport: Ensure your passport has at least 6 months of validity past your supposed stay in Uganda.
  • Two recent passport-size photographs: Meeting essential measurement and layout necessities (check respectable guidelines).
