Transport department of Haryana oversees RTO Faridabad. In the city of Faridabad, the RTO office is in charge of traffic regulations, road tax collection, the issuance of driving licences, vehicle registration, and other related services such as transfer of ownership of vehicle, HP addition/termination of vehicle, vehicle NOC, and so on. There are three RTO offices in Faridabad to manage administrative works: Faridabad RTO (HR51), Ballabhgarh RTO (HR29), and Faridabad commercial RTO (HR38).
RTO performs different tasks or activities required to ensure safe and appropriate transport on the road. RTO Faridabad is primarily responsible for the enforcement of the rules and regulations in road transport in the Faridabad region.

What is the minimum age criteria to get driving license without gear?
The candidate must be aged at least 16 years to get driving license without gear. For less 18 years,it needs to have parent consent letter to apply for driving license without gear.

What is the validity of LL in Faridabad?
The validity of LL in Faridabad is of 6 month from the date of issue of learning licence. One can apply for permanent licence after 30 days from the issue date. If validity of LL expires, there is provision for renewal of it.
Can I change the address in my Driving Licence while applying for renewal?
Yes, you can apply for change of address when you submit the application for renewal of driving licence renewal. Note that you must choose the RTO accordingly if you wish to change the address. You also need to pay additional fees for the change of address in driving licence.
I have a car registered in Faridabad. Its fitness expired last month. How can I renew fitness of my car?
Driving 15 year old vehicle is not allowed in Faridabad as per National Green Tribunal order. Fitness of it can not be extended beyond 15 years. So, the only option you have is to get vehicle NOC for some other state, re-register there and apply for fitness extension.
Will my vehicle’s registration in the Faridabad RTO be valid if I obtain NOC to move my vehicle from Faridabad to another state but do not complete the process of re-registration?
Vehicle's registration in Faridabad RTO is not valid, once NOC for the vehicle is issued. You can not approach RTO for any service like duplicate RC, fitness, ownership transfer. Its advisable to re-register the vehicle to new RTO as soon as possible. If RC or NOC gets lost in between , its very complicated scenario .
