My car is registered in Hyderabad RTO. I want to apply for NOC of my car . Do my visit to RTO is required ?
For NOC process of the vehicle, physical presence of registered owner is not required . Just you need to courier NOC documents to our Hyderabad address . We will get it done.
My car was registered in Hyderabad. I have sold the car to a person who resides in Rangareddy district. There was loan on the vehicle too. What procedure I will have to follow for transfer of ownership ?
Since your car is registered in Hyderabad , so application for hypothecation termination should be submitted to the parent RTO in Hyderabad. Once Hypothecation termination is done, application for ownership transfer should be submitted to the RTO in Rangareddy. After completion of the RC transfer process in Rangareddy, buyer will get RC in his name .
I had bought my car five year back after taking loan from bank and it has been repaid fully. What formalities do I need to follow to sell the car ?
Hypothecation has to be removed from RTO record before the procedure of transfer of ownership of car . However both HP termination and ownership transfer document can be submitted together in the RTO .To terminate hypothecation you must collect loan closure letter and NOC from the bank. I have purchased a used car. Insurance of it has been expired. I am buying new insurance for RC transfer purpose. Insurance should be in the name of seller or buyer ?
For RC transfer valid insurance is required. It can be either in the name of seller or buyer , doesn't matter. However if you buy it in the name of seller later you will have to apply for insurance transfer in your name . Also if insurance is in the name of seller, you will not get claim for insurance in case of accident. So to avoid these complications its advisable to buy insurance in the name of new owner.
I have purchased a bike in Hyderabad . There was loan on the bike . Seller of the bike has moved to USA . Is the presence of seller mandatory to transfer ownership of bike in my name ?
For the HP termination procedure in Hyderabad , seller's presence is mandatory if photograph of seller is not there on the RC. If photograph is there in the RC , ownership transfer can be done without physical presence of seller.
