What if your vehicle doesn’t pass fitness test

If vehicle passes the fitness test, it must take the test again every five years to ensure it remains safe and does not cause excess pollution. A valid fitness certificate is required to renew the registration of a vehicle after it completes 15 years. For private vehicles, the renewed registration certificate is issued for period of five years.
