UIDAI launched the latest version of the Aadhaar card in October 2020 which is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). PVC Aadhar card is durable, easy to carry, laminated, debit-card sized, weather-proof,, and has good printing quality. It is now issued to individuals who enroll for an Aadhar or update their aadhar details now. It’s valid and authentic like all other types of Aadhar. If you wish to see changes in your aadhar PVC card, just update your aadhar card details before ordering it. “Order PVC aadhar” is the facility by which aadhar holders can get their aadhar details printed on a PVC card by paying a nominal fee. You can order it from an alternate mobile number if your number is not linked with your aadhar.

How to order PVC Aadhar card?

Order PVC Aadhar card by using an unregistered number from UIDAI’s website

  1. Visit  (uidai.gov.in)
  2. Enter your Aadhar card number/Enrolment number and Captcha code.
  3. If your mobile number is not linked with your aadhar card, click on the “My mobile number is not registered” tab. Type your unregistered mobile number. Click on “Send OTP”.
  4. Enter the OTP you have received on your unregistered mobile number.
  5. Accept the “Terms and Conditions”. Then, click on “Submit”.
  6. Preview your aadhar card details.
  7. Click on “Make Payment” and complete your payment. 
  8. Download the acknowledgement slip after the payment is complete.
  9. You will receive your pvc aadhar card within 5 business days by speed post. 

Order PVC Aadhar card by using aadhar registered number from UIDAI’s website

  1. Login at Login Page (uidai.gov.in) by using entering your aadhar card number and Captcha.
  2.  Click on “Send OTP”. Enter the OTP. 
  3. Click on “Order Aadhar PVC Card” 
  4. Preview your details like name and address. Then, click on “Next”.
  5. Click on “Make Payment” by accepting the terms and conditions of the payment portal.
  6. You will be redirected to the payment portal. Complete the payment via any one of the payment modes.
  7. Download the acknowledgement slip after the payment is complete. 
  8. You will receive your pvc aadhar card within 5 business days by speed post. 

Note:

  • Kindly remember that if you can’t cancel the order PVC aadhar request after you have made the payment. You won’t get any refund under any circumstances.
  • Please contact 1947 or mail UIDAI if you haven’t received your PVC aadhar card after 15 business days. 
  • Indians can track their delivery of PVC cards at Track Consignment (indiapost.gov.in). You need AWB or the airway bill Number to track the status of your delivery by Indian Post. 
  • You don’t need to print out your acknowledgement slip to receive your PVC aadhar card from your postman. You can keep the slip for future reference.

  • You can also order or request for PVC aadhar though  mAadhaar app by following few steps.
  • The acknowledgment slip downloaded from UIDAI or mAaadhar app consists of a SRN at the top of the application with which you can track your PVC Aadhar Card order request.

The cost of ordering a pvc aadhar card is Rs. 50/- which is inclusive of GST and Speed Post charges. You can pay by any payment method online like Debit/Credit Cards, UPI, Net Banking, Paytm, Whatsapp payments and Online Wallets.
