Aadhar card appointment

Aadhar card appointment is necessary to save your time, energy and money to wait in queues before the Aadhar Seva Kendras. You can always walk in and take an appointment to come later to the Aadhar Seva Kendra or wait in queue for doing your aadhar related jobs. To avoid this hassle, proceed to book an appointment with your nearest Aadhar Seva Kendra online. Aadhar Seva Kendra operates from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm mostly from Monday to Sunday. Some Aadhar Seva Kendra may not work on Sundays.

You can confirm the same while booking an appointment slot. You just need a mobile number and valid supporting documents to book an appointment online. Please note that you can only access details of your appointment online for a month after the date of appointment booking. ASK stands for Aadhar Seva Kendra and AID/AVL stands for Appointment ID. These details will already be mentioned in the appointment slip. You can take an appointment free of cost online for every aadhar related work: -

  1. Aadhar enrolment
  2. Aadhar updates like DOB, name, gender, address, biometric and so on.
  3. Re-print of aadhar card.

How to book an Aadhar appointment?

Booking an appointment for UIDAI run Aadhar Seva Kendra at UIDAI’s website 

  1. Visit Book Appointment (Beta) (uidai.gov.in)
  2. If you find your city in the drop-down list of City/Location, then proceed to book an appointment with UIDAI run Aadhar Seva Kendra. 
  3. Enter the Captcha code and your mobile number/Email ID. Click on “Generate OTP”.
  4. Enter the OTP you have received on your mobile number/Email ID. Then, click on “Verify OTP”
  5. On the next page, select “Appointment type” and “Application Verification Type”, “City”, “State” and  “Aadhar Seva Kendra” from the respective drop-down lists. Enter your aadhar card number and name. Then, click on “Next”.
  6. Click on the box on the kind of update/enrolment you want to do. Select “Previous” if you remember that you have to modify any details. Otherwise, click on “Next”.
  7. Choose the date and time in the Calendar. Select the appointment slot. The red slots are already booked while the white ones are open for appointment. Click on “Next”
  8. Preview the details and click on “Submit” to confirm your appointment. Click on “Previous” if you want to change the date or time of your appointment. 
  9. You will receive an appointment slip which you can download. You will also receive a message on your mobile and a mail to confirm your booking. 
  10. Go to the Aadhar Seva Kendra on the exact day and time of your appointment to complete your aadhar related jobs.
  11. Booking an appointment for Registrar run Aadhar Seva Kendra at UIDAI’s website 

New Enrolment 

  1. Visit Book Appointment (Beta) (uidai.gov.in)
  2. Select “resident type” and choose your login method, mobile number or Email ID. An OTP will be sent to your mobile number/ Email ID after your select “Send OTP”. Enter the Captcha code also.
  3. Enter the OTP you have received on your mobile number/Email ID. Then, “Submit OTP and Proceed”
  4. Click on “New Enrolment” for making an aadhar for the first time. Enter your name. Select your age from the calendar. You have to select gender and resident type. Then, click on “Save and Proceed”.  Select whether you want to update your aadhar by using your documents or using a HOF approach.
  5. Enter all the details. Select the type of POI/POA and proof of birth registration you wish to bring to the Aadhar Seva Kendra. Click on “Save and Proceed”. 
  6. Preview the details and “Submit” the details after clicking on the checkbox of “Disclosure”. You can even edit the details now by clicking on “Edit details”.
  7. Download the Receipt and then click on “Book an appointment”.
  8. Search details by Pincode. Select your state, city, and post office from the drop-down lists.
  9. Book an appointment with the nearest Aadhar Seva Kendra.
  10. You will receive an appointment slip which you can download. You will also receive a message on your mobile and a mail to confirm your booking. 
  11. You can download the receipt and know your EID, Appointment ID and other details after you have completed the appointment also.  

Aadhar Update

  1. Visit Book Appointment (Beta) (uidai.gov.in)
  2. Select “resident type” and choose your login method, mobile number, or email ID. An OTP will be sent to your mobile number or email ID after you select “Send OTP." Enter the captcha code, too.
  3. Enter the OTP that was sent to your mobile phone or email address. Then, “Submit OTP and Proceed”
  4. Click on “Update Aadhar” to make corrections to your Aadhar details. Select “Verification Type,” that is whether you want to update Aadhar details by using your documents or using a HOF approach.
  5. Enter your name and Aadhar number. Select the type of update you want to do. Click on “Save and Proceed."
  6. Preview the details again and click on “Save and Proceed."
  7. Click on the checkbox of “Disclosure” and then, click on "Submit."
  8. Click on “Book an appointment."
  9. Search details by pincode. Select your state, city, and post office from the drop-down lists.
  10. Book an appointment with the nearest Aadhar Seva Kendra.
  11. You will receive an appointment slip which you can download. You will also receive a text message and an email to confirm your reservation. 
  12. You can download the receipt and know your EID, appointment ID, and other details after you have completed the appointment, too.  

mAadhar App

  1. Download the mAadhar app from the Google Play store or Apple Store. Click on “Get Started” after you open the app. Then click on “I consent” to agree to all terms and conditions. Then, choose a language and then click on “Continue”.
  2. You have to enter your mobile number and enter the OTP to register yourself on the app. Click on “Register My Aadhar” and register yourself on this app with your aadhar number, a password and your aadhar registered phone number.
  3. Scroll down and select the “Book an appointment” option. You can also find “Book an Appointment” option after you click on “My Aadhar” option.
  4. Enter the Captcha code and your mobile number/Email ID. Click on “Send OTP”.
  5. Enter the OTP you have received on your mobile number/Email ID. Thereafter, click on the “Save OTP & Proceed” option.
  6. The rest of the procedure is the same as booking an appointment with Registrar run ASK, either for New Enrolment/Aadhar Update using UIDAI’s website.
