PAN Card Reprint
PAN card reprint is the facility to apply for a duplicate PAN card if you want a physical PAN card and there are no changes in the existing PAN details. You don’t have to submit any supporting documents for the reprint of your PAN card. A PAN card reprint is the same as getting a duplicate PAN card. Please apply for correction/change in the existing details of the PAN Card online application if your mobile number or email ID is not up-to-date in your PAN records. Thereafter, you can apply for a reprint of your PAN. You can track the status of processing and delivery of your reprinted PAN with the acknowledgement number present in the payment receipt after the successful submission of the PAN card reprint application
When should one apply for a pan card reprint?
You should apply for a reprint of your PAN card directly if your original PAN card is: -
- Misplaced
- Stolen
- Damaged/Defaced
- Reprint PAN after PAN corrections/change request
- Reprint after applying for Instant e-PAN
Who is eligible for a PAN card reprint?
You can apply for a PAN card reprint from either NSDL or UTIITSL website. There are certain conditions before you can avail of a pan card reprint from a website.
- You can apply for a reprint of your PAN card if you have applied for a new PAN card or made an application for change/correction in existing details of your PAN through NSDL or Income Tax website.
- You can only apply for a PAN card reprint if your mobile number/Email ID you will enter is up-to-date and available in the Income Tax records.
- You can apply for a reprint of your PAN card if you have applied for a new PAN card or made an application for change/correction in existing details of your PAN through UTIITSL or Income Tax website.
- The latest signature and picture have to be present in the UTIITSL database.
- For individual applicants, your Aadhar number should be linked with your PAN card.
How to apply for a PAN card reprint?
NSDL PAN Reprint
- Visit Reprint PAN Card.
- Enter your PAN number, Aadhar number, Date of Birth, and Captcha code. Entering GSTN is optional. Click on the checkbox to accept the terms before you click on “Submit”.
- Preview all the details of the PAN on the next page and click the checkbox of either Email ID/Mobile Number for OTP validation. It’s preferable to choose the mobile number option.
- Click on “Generate OTP”. On the next page, enter the OTP before clicking on “Validate”.
- Choose your mode of Payment. You can pay through Bill Desk or Paytm.
- Click on “Pay Confirm” and you will be redirected to the payment portal. You can now choose to pay via any of the online modes of payment as per your convenience.
- When your payment is successful, you will be redirected to a page with all the details of your payment. Click on “Continue” to proceed.
- On the next page, proceed with “generate and print Payment receipt” option.
- You can click on “download pdf” to download the reprint application payment receipt.
- Your PAN card will be sent to your communication address present in the Income Tax database within 2 weeks.
You can directly apply for a Pan Card reprint online at NSDL or UTIITSL websites. You can go through the normal online change/correction of existing PAN details application of NSDL for reprinting your PAN card. Just don’t select the checkboxes on the left column for an update. You can proceed as usual and the reprinted PAN card will be delivered to your communication address within 2 weeks.
UTIITSL PAN Card Reprint
- Visit (utiitsl.com)
- Proceed by clicking on “Reprint PAN Card”.
- Enter your PAN number, Aadhar number, Date of Birth, and the Captcha code before you click on “Submit”. Entering GSTN is optional.
- Preview all the details of the PAN in the next page and click the checkbox of either Email ID/Mobile Number for OTP validation. It’s preferable to choose the mobile number option. Click on the checkbox to accept the terms. Enter the Captcha code before you click on “Get OTP”
- On the next page, enter the OTP and click on “Submit”.
- Enter your mobile number and Email ID again. Choose your mode of Payment. You can pay through Bill Desk or Paytm. It’s preferable to choose Paytm.
- Click on “Confirm Payment” and you will be redirected to the payment portal. You can now choose to pay via any of the online modes of payment as per your convenience.
- Click on “OK” on the pop-up and download the payment receipt by clicking on “Download Receipt”.
- You will get an Application Number on the screen. Note it down for tracking your PAN Card reprint application status.
- Your PAN card will be sent to your communication address present in the Income Tax database within 2 weeks.
MY PAN app for Reprint PAN card
- Download the app from the Google Play store or the Apple Store (MyPAN – Apps on Google Play/?MyPAN on the App Store)
- Accept the terms and conditions.
- When the app opens, click on the “RePrint PAN Card” option.
- Read the instructions carefully and click on “Next” to proceed.
- Enter your PAN number, Aadhar number, Date of Birth, and the Captcha code before you click on “Submit”. Entering GSTN is optional.
- The rest of the steps are the same as mentioned in the UTIITSL procedure.
PAN reprint charges
PAN card reprint charges are the same for NSDL and UTIITSL websites. You need to pay: -
- Rs. 50: Delivery of reprinted PAN within India (inclusive of all taxes)
- Rs. 959: Delivery of reprinted PAN outside India (inclusive of all taxes)
